
The annual Intra-State Cup Series for girls was held from January 27-29 in Launceston. For the first time ever in the girls competition there were three age divisions and a total of ten teams from around the state participated.

Cripps Tasmanian Roar bowler Katelyn Fryett, who also represented the Australian Shooting Stars (Under 21) this season was on hand to make the presentations, along with Cripps Tasmanian Roar Coach Jade Selby.
Results
Under 13:
In the Under 13 Division, the North West Thunder (Devonport) stole the show, beating the Southern team in the final. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Catelyn Webster from the Northern team, who took 7 wickets and made 351 runs, including one score of 102 not out, the first time in history a century has been made at the Intra-state Cup in any age group for girls.
Under 15:
The Under 15 Division was a closely fought affair, with the North West Team bringing home the spoils. The Most Valuable Player Award was won by Montana Bradley who took 3 wickets and made 152 runs for the competition, with a highest score of 65 not out.
Under 17:
The Under 17 Division was won by the Southern Swans. This competition featured many players from our Under 17 State Side and the level of competition was at its highest in history. Paris Crowe took home the Most Valuable Player Award, taking 4 wickets, scoring 110 runs and taking 2 direct hit run outs in an excellent all-round performance.
