Originally hailing from Irishtown on the North West Coast of Tasmania, Tom made his first class debut for Tasmania in 2011 and was a member of the successful Sheffield Shield Side that defeated New South Wales. Tom, who was part of the successful Australian  Under 19 world Cup side last year, will be looking to make the most of his opportunities at Ryobi Cup and Sheffield Shield level and cement his place in the side.
